Scandinavian Classic Interiors provides full interior solutions as well as searches for specific objects from Scandinavia, new and vintage. Modern classics and antiques are less expensive in Scandinavia compared to the noted prices at auction houses in the United States. Depending on the client's interests we search auction houses, antique stores and the general market to find the right object at a good price while also considering the cost of shipping. Scandinavian Classic Interiors imports upon request and is therefor able to offer a competitive price range.

The production of art, furniture and design in Scandinavia in the above mentioned periods are outstanding both in quality and style. Without ever being overly decorative these pieces make statements through their simplicity.

During the Neoclassical period, the Scandinavian countries were influenced by different parts of Europe. Sweden was very focused on France and, although a little delayed, eventually recruited such skillful artists that the furniture equaled the French in quality and beauty, but yet with a northern flair. Sweden also had a rather extensive production compared to the other Scandinavian countries.

However, in 20th century some of the most famous designs in the world were made in Denmark and Finland, as well as Sweden. During this period pieces such as Arne Jacobsen's The Egg and The Swan chairs, Alvar Aalto's vase Savoy and Bruno Matheson's chair Pernilla. Furthermore, Swedish Grace, the style of the 1920s, received worldwide recognition. The Scandinavian countries also produced some fantastic pieces during the Art Deco period, 1930-40, that are slightly more modest than the French and Belgian Art Deco, but nevertheless still extraordinary.

Through Scandinavian Classic interiors it is possible to get a personal and stylish home, or a specific object.
